Overview

The U-0080D Photodiode Array Spectrophotometer is designed to meet the most stringent requirements of today's biotechnology laboratories. Equipped with standard DNA/RNA analysis software, the U-0080D provides ultra-fast scanning, measuring the entire wavelength within 0.05 seconds. It can analyze trace amounts (as low as1μL)so you will not waste your valuable samples.*

The U-0080D is an affordable, powerful spectroscopy instrument that is ideally suited for biotechnological research and analyses.

Features:

• DNA/RNA Measurements - A260/280 ratio, purity, concentration, molar concentration (nucleotides), background correction, baseline correction, dilution magnification
• Protein Concentrations - Calculates concentrations by the Warburg-Christian method. Other quantitative analyses are available viareagents.
• DNA Labeling - Verifies that fluorescent dyes are coupled with primers before DNA sequencing.
• Wavelength Scan - Baseline correction, overlay of 20 channel data, peak detection, recalculation, printing.
• Time Scan - Baseline correction, overlay of 20 channel data, auto scale, recalculation, printing.
• Quantitation - Plotting of calibration curves, statistical operations, one/two/three-wavelength calculations, saving and printing of calibration curves and measurement data.
